Job description

Very strong Java development skills are vital to Logic20/20's success. In order to continue and accelerate our growth, we are looking for a Java Developer to add to our Seattle, Washington-based team.
The Java Developer is responsible for delivering client value and ensuring high client satisfaction. This will include not only doing the development work but also providing technical guidance with the application design and architecture, integration design and architecture, and enforcement of technical standards. The Java Developer is expected to be adept at recognizing, subscribing and applying best practices, methodology, tools and techniques to meet client requirements, timelines and budgets.
Skills & Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience of Java development skills
  • Spring background preferred; Spring MVC is a plus
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related engineering field
  • Expert level skills with at least one of the following technologies: Java, SOAP, Rest, JMS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the best practices for the full software development life cycle, including design, prototyping, development, conducting reviews, build and deployment processes, unit testing, and operation.
  • Proven track record of delivering and operating large-sized internet-scale software systems.

Project management skills expected from all positions:
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in both verbal and written formats
  • Demonstrated ability to identify business and technical impacts of user requirements and incorporate them into the project schedule
  • Ability to work and travel regularly anywhere in the greater Seattle region on long term assignments
