Business Intelligence Analyst II

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: South Bend, IN (On-site)

The Business Intelligence Analyst II plays a key role in supporting Tire Rack's business intelligence efforts by analyzing data, developing dashboards, and translating information into actionable insights. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, uncover business opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly while managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business needs
  • Analyze moderately complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable business insights
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to gather, analyze, and interpret data
  • Use SQL and other analytical tools to retrieve, evaluate, and troubleshoot data
  • Develop data-driven recommendations that support business processes, performance, and profitability
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and business partners
  • Verify data accuracy and integrity across dashboards, reports, and other analytical deliverables
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business analyst, business intelligence, or related analytical role with a focus on data visualization and reporting
  • Proficiency with Tableau and experience developing dashboards and data visualizations
  • Intermediate proficiency with SQL, including the ability to write and troubleshoot queries and understand relational database concepts
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
Hours:
  • Monday-Friday; occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary
  • 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; additional hours may be necessary
