We are seeking a Principal- Architecture to provide leadership across project delivery, client relationships, business development, and people management in our St. Louis office. This role is ideal for an experienced architect who is energized by driving new client business, cultivating relationships, and leading projects as principal in charge, while mentoring and developing high-performing teams and executing strategic initiatives.

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $135,000(dependent on experience) plus discretionary bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental and vision insurance, unlimited paid time off, a 401(k) w/company match, employer paid life/AD&D insurance and short term disability, and long-term leadership growth opportunities.


Requirements for our Principal- Architecture:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Architecture (NAAB-accredited program preferred)
  • Licensed Architect in Missouri; Meets NCARB standards for licensure in other states
  • 10+ years of experience in an architecture or commercial interiors firm, including business development and revenue generation
  • Proven people management experience, including mentoring, performance leadership, and team development
  • Experience with Revit, Lumion and/or Enscape; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); FF&E, architectural/interior finishes, lighting, signage, color, and materials
  • Working knowledge of building design, codes, specifications, constructability, design trends, and construction methodologies


Responsibilities for our Principal- Architecture:

  • Serve as principal in charge on key projects, overseeing the full project lifecycle from proposal through completion
  • Lead client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for major engagements
  • Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and financial performance goals
  • Drive quality control, risk management, and successful project outcomes
  • Execute business development strategies and cultivate relationships with clients and strategic partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and support firm growth initiatives
  • Lead and develop direct reports, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
  • Support execution of strategic and operational plans in alignment with firm leadership
