Job description

Licensed Plumber
Licensed Plumber — 4 Day Work Week | No On Call | Local Company

Prime Plumbing & Drains – Noblesville, IN
Prime Plumbing & Drains is a locally owned plumbing service company based in Noblesville, Indiana. We’re growing because we believe plumbing should be done the right way — with integrity, craftsmanship, and respect for homeowners.
Our team focuses on solving problems and building long-term relationships with customers, not pushing unnecessary services or high-pressure sales.
If you’re a licensed plumber who takes pride in your craft and wants to work somewhere that values honesty, teamwork, and professionalism, we’d love to meet you.
Work-Life Balance That Actually Exists
We believe great plumbers shouldn’t have to sacrifice their personal lives to succeed in the trade. That’s why we’ve structured our schedule to give our team real time off.
Our technicians work a staggered 4-day schedule (four 10-hour days) which includes:
Three-day weekends every week
Four consecutive days off built into the rotation
Only one Saturday shift per month
NO ON CALL

As we continue to grow the team, the Saturday rotation will become even less frequent.
Our goal is simple: build a career that supports your life outside of work — not one that competes with it.

A Company That Respects the Craft
At Prime Plumbing & Drains, our technicians are not commissioned salespeople.
We believe plumbers should focus on diagnosing problems, educating homeowners, and delivering quality work — without pressure to sell unnecessary services just to earn a paycheck.
Our reputation is built on doing the right thing for our customers and earning their trust over time.
What You'll Do
• Diagnose residential plumbing issues
 • Perform plumbing service, maintenance, and installations
 • Install fixtures such as toilets, faucets, disposals, and water heaters
 • Work on water, drain, and gas piping systems
 • Communicate clearly with homeowners about problems and solutions
 • Maintain a clean and professional work environment
 • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
Work is primarily residential service with some light commercial work.

What We're Looking For
• Valid Indiana Plumbing License
 • Minimum 1 year of plumbing experience preferred
 • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
 • Positive attitude and coachable mindset
 • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
 • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Apprentices and Skilled Trades Welcome
We are also open to interviewing candidates with skilled trade experience who may still be working toward their plumbing license.
Prime Plumbing & Drains is a U.S. Department of Labor Mechanical Skills sponsor, and we support technicians pursuing their plumbing license through tuition assistance, mentorship, and hands-on training.
Program conditions apply and will be discussed during the interview process.
Why Prime Plumbing & Drains
4-day work week with built-in 3-day weekends
NO ON CALL
• Limited Saturday rotation
• No commission sales pressure
• Focus on craftsmanship and customer relationships
• Supportive team culture
• Mentorship and licensing support
• Locally owned company rooted in the community
Prime Plumbing & Drains was founded on the belief that homeowners should be treated fairly — especially when plumbing problems happen at the worst possible times.
We take pride in protecting the trust placed in our profession and serving our community with integrity.
