What is Prime Roots?

Prime Roots is a food company that specializes in creating plant-based meat and seafood alternatives using koji, a type of fungus traditionally used in Japanese cuisine. Their products are designed to mimic the taste, texture, and nutritional profile of traditional animal-based proteins, making them a popular choice for vegetarians, vegans, and anyone looking to reduce their meat consumption. Prime Roots focuses on sustainability, aiming to provide environmentally friendly options that help reduce the carbon footprint associated with animal agriculture.

Familiarity with R&D lab equipment, sensory analysis tools, and food safety certifications like HACCP is typically required. Creativity, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills help drive innovative plant-based product development. These competencies are crucial for producing high-quality, safe, and marketable food products that align with Prime Roots' mission and industry standards.
