Project Scheduler (Primavera P6) - Data Center Construction

Locations: Austin, TX | Atlanta, GA | Monroe, LA | Graniteville, SC

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler with strong Primavera P6 expertise to support large-scale data center construction projects. This role will partner closely with project managers, field leaders, contractors, and stakeholders to develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules that drive successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience working in construction or mission-critical environments and understands how to utilize scheduling tools and methodologies to forecast progress, identify risks, and support project execution.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to establish project timelines
  • Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance
  • Identify schedule conflicts, delays, and critical path impacts
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Conduct critical path analysis and provide recommendations to mitigate risk
  • Support resource loading and forecasting efforts
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and executive-level schedule reports
  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure project schedules remain accurate
  • Support earned value reporting and project performance analysis
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience using Primavera P6
  • Experience scheduling projects within:
    • Data Center Construction, OR
    • Commercial Construction, Industrial Construction, Infrastructure, or Mission-Critical environments
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Critical Path Method (CPM)
    • Schedule Logic and Dependencies
    • Resource Loading
    • WBS Development
    • Milestone Tracking
    • Schedule Reporting
  • Experience building and maintaining project schedules throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ability to interpret construction documents, specifications, and project requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data center project experience
  • Experience building schedules from scratch
  • Familiarity with earned value management (EVM)
  • Experience presenting schedule updates to leadership and clients
  • Knowledge of construction sequencing and field operations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $68.00/hr.
