Your Role
The Pricing Analysts role is critical to the growth and profitability expectations of RPM. This position is responsible for developing accurate pricing on new opportunities brought by the Sales team. This role will also complete weekly, and ad-hoc reporting. The person in this role will need to be a team player, dedicated to the customer, passionate about our industry, and disciplined to do what it takes to get the job done.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Compile customer RFQ/RFP information on Bids and Spot quotes, organize into working folders within the Pricing SharePoint, disseminate working files to Carrier Sales and Customer Sales for input
  • Facilitate communication and feedback between departments, schedule and lead pricing strategy meetings, visualize data via Power BI
  • Complete pricing activities from receipt through final submission using working files and templates to aid in the pricing strategy
  • Track and maintain submissions; notating wins and losses, projected revenue, actual revenue + margin, and relevant customer information including contract award information
  • Update Salesforce with required information during and after Pricing involvement
  • Maintain and improve pricing models with internal datasets
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience;
  • 2+ years in pricing, financial analysis, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and Power BI for data visualization; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Experience using Python or SQL
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze large datasets, spot trends, and improve pricing models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Customer Support.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring accuracy and consistency in pricing and reporting.
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to adapt quickly, drive process improvements, and maintain a customer-focused approach.
