N & M Transfer, a family-owned transportation company, is responsible for the transportation of millions of pounds of commodities a day throughout our regional area. N&M's team of skilled truck drivers, forklift operators, mechanics and office employees work together to provide a superior next-day transportation service which positively affects our local economy.
Position Description
The Pricing Analyst will ensure profitability and improved lane balance through hands-on management of pricing requests from Account Managers in the field, the customer bid process and the renewal of existing contracts and tariff items. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Responsibilities:
  • Process and Analyze Requests for Pricing (RFP) and review with Sales and Pricing Manager
  • Review RFP Criteria for new business opportunities
  • Utilize RFP websites as required: BatchMark, Jaggaer, Bid Sense, Keelvar, Coupa, Ti Contract
  • Submit approved proposals, track their status and update the pricing Bid document
  • Assist with publication and distribution of awarded business or pricing adjustments.
  • Recommend additional volume opportunities that exist through data analysis:
    • API Quotes not tendered
    • Web Quotes not tendered
    • Available volume not awarded in RFP lanes
  • Complete other projects as required

Qualifications include:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation or related field beneficial, not required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Keyboarding ability
  • Proficient use of these windows programs is required:
    • Microsoft Excel
      • Pivot tables
      • Formulas
      • Formatting
        • Will be tested during the interview process
      • Microsoft Word
      • Microsoft Outlook
