Job description

We are seeking a Senior Strategic Pricing Associate to work from our Duluth, GA office location.
WHO YOU ARE:
The Senior Strategic Pricing Associate will play an integral role on QTS' Strategic Pricing team within the Asset Management group. In this role, you will work as a key member of a small, tight-knit team in a fast-paced environment. As a member of the Strategic Pricing team, you will be responsible for the economic analysis of prospective deals and help determine pricing recommendations for QTS' products and services, safeguarding profitability, and supporting the company's growth. In doing so, you will collaborate closely with multiple teams - Sales, Sales Ops, Strategic Finance, Legal, Product, Development, Investments, Site/Facility Operations and others. This position requires an analytical, detail-oriented, and organized professional who thrives in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent priorities and tight deadlines.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Collaborate with various teams to establish and manage pricing across the full product portfolio, including power, space, connectivity, and non-recurring projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and refine proprietary pricing and financial models in MS Excel and other platforms.
  • Actively participate in the selling process to ensure accuracy and adherence to best practices, while also driving for outcomes in line with the broader financial and strategic goals.
  • Analyze deal economics by evaluating customer profiles, deployment requirements, market conditions, internal price/return targets, and other relevant factors.
  • Review and approve quotes in Salesforce, update internal records with the latest deal metrics, review assumptions for potential projects, and ensure compliance with internal approval limits/process.
  • Support senior-level reviews by producing relevant analysis of market rents, deal performance, underwriting methodologies, project profitability, NOI impact, etc.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a field requiring detailed financial analysis (e.g., pricing, data analysis, banking, consulting, real estate, or other related fields).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, complex formulas, data analysis, and best practices for model management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to create professional, executive-ready deliverables.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to collect, synthesize, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to support business decisions.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with evolving deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing projects including planning, tracking progress, and proactively addressing risks to ensure timely delivery.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Familiarity with data center operations, real estate investment or asset management.
  • Solid, fundamental grasp of financial analysis concepts in cash flow modeling and ROI calculations.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Workday.
