Job Description:
The RaceWay Business Analyst II delivers advanced analytics and reporting to support POS operations, loyalty programs, pricebook accuracy, and operational decision-making. This role builds on core business analyst capabilities with increased ownership of data modeling, automation, and data quality initiatives. This position partners closely with Operations, POS teams, Loyalty, Finance, Data Engineering, and external vendors to enhance data accuracy, scale reporting solutions, and deliver actionable insights that drive business performance and franchisee outcomes.
What You'll Do:
  • Design, develop, and enhance enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, SQL, and Databricks.
  • Build, manage, and optimize scalable data models across POS, pricebook, loyalty, operational, and financial data.
  • Partner with Data Engineering on data pipelines, APIs, integrations, and data platform initiatives.
  • Deliver standardized reporting and dashboards for performance tracking, operational visibility, and exception monitoring.
  • Support governance and maintenance of item, pricebook, and operational data across systems.
  • Design and monitor exception reporting to proactively identify data quality issues and business risks.
  • Partner with POS teams and external vendors on system enhancements, implementations, and issue resolution.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using analytics, AI-assisted tools, and modern technologies to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Conduct ad hoc and deep-dive analysis to support business, operational, and strategic initiatives.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and data visualization/reporting best practices.
  • Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms.
  • Experience with APIs, Python, AI-assisted tools, or process automation technologies preferred.
  • Experience working with POS systems, retail transaction data, loyalty programs, or pricebook management preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights
