Job Description
The Guest Room Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are spotless, welcoming, and fully stocked. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, restocking amenities, light snow removal, and attending to guest requests with attention to detail and efficiency. The ideal candidate will take pride in providing a clean and pleasant environment for guests, contributing to their positive experience.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including changing linens, making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
  • Restock and replace bathroom amenities, including towels, toiletries, toilet paper, and tissues. Clean all bathroom fixtures, mirrors, and floors.
  • Empty wastebaskets in guest rooms and public areas; replace liners as needed.
  • Replenish room supplies like toiletries, glasses, stationery, and additional amenities.
  • Ensure all room items, including furniture, fixtures, and electronics, are in working order; report any maintenance issues to management.
  • Collect any guest belongings left behind and promptly turn them into Lost & Found.
  • Maintain cleanliness in hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other common areas as assigned.
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to guests, assisting with their needs and answering questions.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members.
  • Keep open lines of communication with supervisors and other staff, reporting any issues or additional guest requests.

Skills / Experience
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to excellent guest service.

Physical Requirements
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for long periods.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as carrying supplies and moving furniture.
