As a Shift Lead for Tropical Smoothie Cafe, you will assist with training & leading others, under the guidance of the management team, to be the best we can be and ensure raving fan guests.   • Assign tasks to crew on shift under the guidance of management.
  • Remain update-to-date on all company training requirements & assist in on-going crew training opportunities during shift.
  • Willing and able to learn how to monitor & maintain company shift labor standards.
  • Maintain and exceed guest expectations.
  • Present a consistent, professional image of the café by following all sanitation and appearance standards. 
  • Uphold & promote the highest food quality and hospitality standards.  
  • Ensures food safety and assists others to prepare all food at the highest level. 
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and apply knowledge of all policies and procedures. 
  • Enjoy working with others & in the food & beverage industry.

Tropical Smoothie was born on a beach. There was no art on the walls, because we had no walls. The view was all the art we needed. That first blender was almost as loud as the surf. Fresh fruit came in by the basket, strapped to the front of our cruiser bicycles. Between volleyball games, walks in the sand and dips in the water – they lined up. And the smoothies poured out. We learned a lot on that beach. Most of all, we learned a better way to live. Take things easy, soak up the sunshine and be who you are. We learned the need to a getaway is not a once-a-year-thing – it’s an everyday thing.
