Regional Nurse Consultant

Join Prestige Healthcare Services, a leading provider of short-term and long-term skilled rehabilitation services, in Richmond, VA and District of Columbia. As a Regional Nurse Consultant, you will oversee clinical operations across the region to ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines and regulatory standards.

About the Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partners with facility administrators and department managers to address compliance gaps and implement corrective action plans
  • Conducts regular site visits and inspections to monitor adherence to policies and procedures
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient outcomes and facility operations.
  • Audits skilled nursing facilities to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal guidelines, including CMS, state Department of Health, and OSHA regulations
  • Provides mentorship and support to nursing leadership and clinical staff across facilities
  • Prepares audit reports and communicates findings and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Stays current on changes to CMS regulations, state nursing home requirements, and industry best practices
