Job Description Pressman (1st & 2nd Pressman Opportunities) Location: Northeast Indianapolis, IN Schedule: Full-Time | 1st & 2nd Shift Available Are you an experienced Pressman looking to join a fast-paced, quality-driven production environment. Our client, a well-established printing operation in northeast Indianapolis, is seeking skilled printing professionals to join their team. Opportunities are available for both 1st Pressmen and 2nd Pressmen on first and second shift.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced sheetfed offset printing equipment in a stable, team-oriented environment that values craftsmanship, efficiency, and quality. Position Overview As a Pressman, you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring high-quality printed products are delivered efficiently and consistently. Successful candidates will have experience working with sheetfed offset presses and a commitment to maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities 1st Pressman Operate and maintain sheetfed offset printing presses Mix and adjust inks to achieve precise color standards Monitor print quality and make press adjustments as needed Collaborate with internal teams to obtain production approvals Perform routine maintenance and preventive press care Ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met 2nd Pressman Support the 1st Pressman throughout the production process Prepare and stage plates, paper, inks, and other production materials Troubleshoot feeder issues and assist with press setup Perform cleaning, maintenance, and quality checks Maintain a safe and organized work environment Assist in maximizing press efficiency and uptime Qualifications Experience operating or supporting sheetfed offset printing presses Experience with 40" sheetfed presses preferred Familiarity with Manroland and/or Heidelberg equipment is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork What We Offer Full-time, stable employment Consistent 8-hour shifts with overtime opportunities Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to work with advanced printing technology Convenient northeast Indianapolis location If you are a motivated printing professional seeking a long-term opportunity with a respected organization, we encourage you to apply today.
