Job description

Pressroom Operator

Clampco Products, an Employee-Owned Company) employer, is seeking a Pressroom operator. Individuals in the Pressroom ensure accurate and timely stamping, blanking and/or forming of material from the warehouse which are then delivered to the appropriate department by Work Order instruction. The production of trunnions, bands, latches, bent/wrapped bolts, bridges, brackets, handles, etc. for future work in the Bending/Rolling/Assembly departments.

Duties and Responsibilities for this Position include, but are not limited to:

Operating hydraulic punch presses while completing parts to Work Order/Blueprint specifications, completing required documentation (written/data entry), checking parts for quality by use of provided equipment (dial calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, blue laser, etc.), developing new parts for production and completing quick die changes for future production.

Minimum Requirements

  • Basic Reading/Writing Comprehension
  • Basic Understanding and Use of Computers
  • Beginning to Intermediate level experience with machinery and/or manufacturing
  • Individuals must meet established Company Quality/Production Standards

Work Environment

  • 2nd Shift - Monday – Thursday, 4:30pm - 3:00am, Overtime on Friday if scheduled
  • Ability to walk, navigate stairs, ladders, use PPE and follow all safety standards
  • Lift up to 50# with or without accommodation, physical demand is heavy
  • May assist other departments when needed
