Job description

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Second Pressman to assist in operating a Komori 40-inch offset printing press or similar large-format offset equipment. The Second Pressman supports the Lead Pressman in maintaining press efficiency, print quality, and meeting production deadlines. This role is essential to ensuring smooth press operation and high-quality printed products
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Pressman in the setup, operation, and maintenance of a Komori or similar 40" offset press
Prepare plates, inks, paper, and other materials for press runs
Monitor press performance and help maintain color consistency and print quality
Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on press equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow production schedules and help meet daily production goals
Troubleshoot minor issues and communicate problems to the Lead Pressman or supervisor
Experience working with Komori presses or other 40-inch offset printing presses preferred
Basic knowledge of offset printing processes, inks, and paper stocks
Ability to read job tickets and follow production instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
