We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pressman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in printing processes, particularly Sheetfed offset printing, and will be responsible for producing high-quality printed materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent color management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain printing presses to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
- Set up jobs by preparing screens, inks, and substrates according to specifications.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure adherence to quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate components as needed for various projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating machinery such as forklifts and CNC equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards of excellence.
Skills
- Proficiency in Sheetfed offset printing techniques and processes.
- Experience with Heidelberg XL series Presses a plus, but not a must.
