RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE

L’opérateur ou l’opératrice de presse manœuvre, calibre et entretient la presse Indigo HP 20000 pour garantir une qualité supérieure et un temps de fonctionnement de la machine optimal et veille à dépasser les attentes des clients. Il ou elle fournit des rouleaux de films imprimés (polyéthylène, polypropylène orienté biaxialement (BOPP), polytéréphtalate d’éthylène et autres substrats à base de polymère) au service de lamination. Le ou la titulaire du poste est en outre responsable de l’entretien et de la propreté de la presse et de la maintenance lors des pannes et des réparations, avec l’aide de l’opérateur principal ou de l’équipe de soutien technique de HP.

Le ou la titulaire du poste doit faire preuve de souplesse en ce qui a trait aux quarts de travail.

Remarque : Le deuxième quart de travail peut commencer à n’importe quel moment à partir de 14 h et se poursuivre jusqu’à 2 h (sujet à changement). La formation peut avoir lieu le matin. Les candidats sélectionnés doivent pouvoir travailler sur des quarts de travail en rotation (matin/midi/soir/nuit), s’il y a lieu.

FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES

  • Calibrer régulièrement la presse au moyen du calibrage des couleurs afin de garantir une excellente qualité d’impression.
  • Configurer efficacement la machine pour maximiser le temps de fonctionnement.
  • Confirmer les spécifications du travail selon le bon de travail avant l’impression.
  • Effectuer l’entretien quotidien et hebdomadaire de la presse.
  • Informer l’opérateur principal de la presse lorsque l’équipement a besoin d’être réparé.
  • Effectuer des appels de service auprès de l’équipe technique HP, s’il y a lieu.
  • Charger les rouleaux de matériel sur la presse.
  • Surveiller la qualité d’impression pendant que la machine est en mode de production.
  • Saisir les données de production, de consommation et de déchets dans Microsoft NAV (ERP).
  • Maintenir la salle des presses propre et ordonnée.

  • On pourrait demander à l’opérateur ou à l’opératrice de presse de soutenir d’autres secteurs de l’Exploitation, notamment l’assistant, Sachets ainsi que le personnel des secteurs du découpage et de lamination.

CONNAISSANCES PROFESSIONNELLES, APTITUDES ET COMPÉTENCES

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Press Operator efficiently operates, calibrates and maintains an Indigo HP 20000 to ensure excellent quality, machine uptime and that customer expectations are exceeded. Responsible for supplying printed rolls of film (PE, BOPP, PET and other polymer based substrates) to the lamination department. Responsible for machine upkeep, cleanliness and maintenance during break/fix with Lead Operator or HP Technical Support team’s assistance. 

The position requires shift flexibility. 

Selected candidates should be flexible for rotating shifts (morning / noon / evening / night) if required. Shift premium for evening shifts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Regularly calibrates press via color calibration to ensure excellent print quality
  • Efficiently sets up machine to maximize uptime
  • Confirms job specifications based on job ticket prior to printing
  • Performs daily and weekly maintenance on press
  • Notifies Lead Press Operator when equipment needs repair
  • Opens service calls with HP Technical Team as necessary
  • Loads rolls of material onto press
  • Monitors print quality while machine is in production
  • Inputs production, consumption, and waste data into Microsoft NAV (ERP)
  • Keeps pressroom clean and organized

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Could be asked to support other parts of the operations including pouch assistant, slitting, and lamination
  • Communicates with Prepress and Converting department when necessary
