Job description

Job description: We are looking for Presentation Designers who are talented, hardworking and who want to grow and develop their skills in a fast paced and exciting environment. You will be creating presentations and demonstratives for patent litigation. You will be working with top attorneys and industry experts for Fortune 500 companies. The role requires traveling for courtroom hearings and trials, sometimes for a few weeks at a time. We do pay additional for working while traveling. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

Skills you will need: You will need to be able to sketch and produce ideas quickly and take in large volumes of information while thinking about how best to display information in a persuasive manner. Some long hours and travel will be part of your job. You will be expected to make tight deadlines under pressure but will be supported by a great group of coworkers. We are looking for candidates who can adapt to a quick paced work environment but also enjoy learning about new technologies and industries. You donโ€™t need to know everything, but you do need to be a quick learner.

Software: PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator. 2D and 3D animation software a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize visuals based on communicated requirements
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
  • Develop illustrations, visual analogies and complex charts
  • Work with attorneys and experts to produce final presentations
  • Be able to handle many rounds of changes after feedback
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually clear and impactful
  • Study legal briefs and determine design requirements

Requirements and skills

  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time, traveling by air or driving to trial locations across the U.S., all expenses covered
  • A strong portfolio of presentations with illustrations and informational graphics
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (especially PowerPoint, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Know how to animate in PowerPoint or other 2D or 3D animation software
  • Ability to work methodically and meet tight deadlines
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills

Degree in Communication Design, New Media, UI or related field is a plus
