About This Role

Little Feathers Learning Center

Little Feathers Learning Center is seeking a warm, energetic, and experienced Preschool Educator to join our passionate team of early childhood professionals. This role is ideal for someone who values child-led learning, emotional development, and play-based curriculum.

Our preschool educators play a vital role in preparing children ages 3–5 for kindergarten and beyond by fostering independence, confidence, and a love for learning. Educators are viewed as co-learners, supporting curiosity, creativity, and meaningful exploration.

This position includes a semi-flexible schedule based on the needs of the school and classroom ratios.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum aligned with emergent learning
  • Support social-emotional growth through positive guidance and relationship building
  • Maintain a structured daily routine while allowing flexibility for child-led learning experiences
  • Observe, document, and communicate children’s progress through the Kangarootime app
  • Collaborate with co-teachers and create a warm, engaging classroom environment
  • Communicate professionally with families and provide insight into each child's development

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a licensed preschool program
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and emergent curriculum practices
  • Ability to maintain calm, respectful classroom management
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and passionate about early education
  • Flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the school and children

Join us at Little Feathers Learning Center and become part of a community dedicated to building confident, capable, and joyful learners.

Benefits

At Little Feathers Learning Center, we believe in supporting the well-being and professional growth of our educators just as much as we support the development of the children in our care. We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to help our team thrive both personally and professionally, including:

  • Accumulated Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Earn paid time off throughout the year to use for vacations, personal days, or sick leave.
  • Paid Holidays & Rest Days
  • Enjoy scheduled paid holidays and designated rest days to recharge and spend quality time with loved ones.
  • Childcare Assistance
  • Discounted childcare rates are available for team members, helping support a healthy work-life balance.
  • Health & Wellness Benefits
  • Eligible employees have access to dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance, providing added peace of mind for you and your family.
  • Continuous Professional Development
  • We invest in your success by providing ongoing training opportunities, workshops, and support for earning certifications and continuing education in early childhood development.

At Little Feathers, you're more than an employee—you’re part of a team that values compassion, collaboration, and excellence. We are committed to creating a positive workplace where educators feel appreciated, supported, and empowered to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.
