Protecting care through advanced security systems
Coordinator - Security Systems
In this role the Coordinator of Security Systems maintains the responsibility for managing all aspects of the Physical Security program for designated campuses across the enterprise.
Essential Job Duties
  • Manages the physical security program for their designated campuses across the enterprise.
  • Consults with internal clients and assesses physical security needs, through survey and threat analysis, and provides recommendations.
  • Determines the scope of work of physical security measures; designs the security system and obtains proposals for the project.
  • Coordinates all aspects of physical security projects, including interfacing with internal departments, including OFD, OFO and IT.
  • Manages all projects from beginning to completion to ensure adherence to intended scope of work and compliance with internal protocols.
  • Coordinates the service of all physical security equipment to ensure maintenance and timely repair of all equipment. Reconciles invoices.
  • Maintains detailed records on all projects, including proposals, awarded projects and service calls.
  • Assists in assessing security technology and equipment to determine potential physical security solutions with potential benefit.
  • Programs security software and works with vendors and colleagues to program security systems. Addresses changes to program logic as required.
  • Establishes, documents and perceives technology builds, best practices and standards.
  • Assists in the investigative process to review security data; IE. CCTV, Card Access and Audio as necessary.

This is a Monday - Friday - Day Shift
Work Location: 466 Lexington Avenue
Preferred Criteria:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • ASIS - Physical Security Professional certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office

Required Criteria:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ Years of experience working with security systems
  • Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Good judgment, problem-solving ability, and strategic thinking
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Diversity awareness, understanding and respect for cultural differences
  • Ability to travel between campuses as needed
