What you will do:
We are a small, fast-paced internal design team who takes responsibility and ownership in creating high-caliber work for a beloved brand. We are here to provide design solutions for internal and external stakeholders. As a Designer, you will drive design thinking from ideation through design development, refinement, and execution, creating high-quality design solutions across multiple print and digital channels. As part of the Tillamook Design team, you will partner closely with internal and external design partners plus a cross-functional team to deliver final design solutions.
Here's a day in the life:
  • Visually translate Tillamook brand and graphic standards through a variety of mediums (print and digital).
  • Strategically and thoughtfully present design work to the design team, internal stakeholders, and agency partners.
  • Advocate for the Tillamook brand and ensure projects align with brand and graphic standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain strong organization.
  • Track projects in Workfront.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills.
  • Work collaboratively and provide thoughtful design critiques.
  • Take direction from Creative Managers and Senior Designer.
  • Be aware of budgets and timelines as outlined by Project Managers.
  • Collaborate with Creative Managers, Senior Designers, Project Managers, and Marketing team members.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design.
  • 4 + years of experience in-house and/or agency/studio environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience designing for both print and digital.
  • Experience working with graphic systems, branding, hierarchy, color, layout, and typography across marketing channels.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain the rationale behind design decisions and seek clarity when needed.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Design team to develop and execute creative solutions to briefs.
  • Understanding of prepress, printing processes, and print file setup.
  • Understanding of PowerPoint and collaborative deck creation.
  • Prepare and organize assets for final delivery and upload.
  • Experience with Basecamp, Workfront, or similar project-management tools are plus.
  • Maintain brand consistency through seasonal toolkits and standards.
  • Illustration + motion skills are a plus.
