Job description

Reports to: Plant Manager

Job Summary: Ensure all prepress tasks are completed accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process digital files for print production
  • Review and troubleshoot files for potential issues
  • Ensure that all files meet quality standards and are ready for print production
  • Collaborate with designers, production staff, and clients to ensure that all project requirements are met
  • Maintain and troubleshoot prepress equipment and software
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in prepress technology

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in prepress operations
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of prepress equipment and software, including RIP software, plate setters, and digital presses
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and efficiently

Working hours are Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM. Flexibility with working days and hours is required to meet customer demands.
