Job description

We are seeking a Tearoom/Cafe Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for providing customers with a memorable Afternoon Tea experience! We are a small business looking to expand and we are looking for someone interested in taking the lead at our Lexington tearoom! This position is multi-faceted where the manager will be in charge or all food prep which will include sandwiches for our Belmont location and catering events and some pastries as needed. In addition to the food prep and food safety of the tearoom the manager will oversee a small group of servers and dishwasher and oversee guest services with clients. 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ensure a high quality of ingredients and food preparation
  • Train and manage tearoom staff 
  • Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs
  • Oversee guest services and resolve issues

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food service or other related fields 
  • Food safety managers certificate 
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
