Job description

Job Summary:
Drive regional premium finance performance by executing enterprise strategy at a best in class level, maximizing regional revenue, embedding financing awareness across local teams, and building strong, trusted relationships with premium finance partners to support client growth and differentiation.
The role is responsible for managing the administrative and financial lifecycle of loans used to pay for insurance premiums. This role acts as a critical link between Lockton, underwriters, clients and premium finance companies.
Key Responsibilities
• Operations Management: oversee day-to-day premium financing operations, including planning and organizing contract processing.
• Liaison & Coordination: act as the primary point of contact between Lockton and the Client Account Teams, insurance underwriters and finance companies to ensure contracts are sourced and processed accurately.
• Direct client interaction: ability to interact directly with clients where required.
• Contract Review: verify all financing agreements for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards before approval.
• Relationship Building: maintain and grow relationships with premium finance providers through regular communication.
• Compliance & Risk: ensure all financing activities follow industry regulations and internal policies; stay updated on legal changes affecting premium loans.
• Issue Resolution: identify and resolve discrepancies or issues related to premium payments and financing agreements.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: at least 1 year of experience in insurance, premium financing, or financial services.
• Certifications: preferred certifications include Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), or Certified Risk Manager (CRM).
• Technical Skills: proficiency in financial analysis, risk assessment, and financial software/tools. Microsoft application usage and understanding is a requirement.
• Soft Skills: high attention to detail, Ability to multitask, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills for dealing with diverse stakeholders.
Awareness & Adoption
Ensure regional client-facing and service teams consistently recognize and position premium finance as part of the overall client solution. Drive adoption through training, playbooks, marketing materials, and ongoing reinforcement so financing becomes embedded in day-to-day behaviors.
Own Regional KPIs
Be accountable for regional performance metrics such as spread income per $1M premium, adoption rates, execution quality, compliance metrics, and client satisfaction-feeding results into enterprise reporting.
Technology & Enablement
Champion the effective use of available technology and tools within the region to improve efficiency, transparency, compliance, and client experience. Support piloting and adoption of enterprise-led innovations where applicable.
Data, Reporting & Insights
Partner with enterprise data, analytics, and finance teams to ensure accurate regional reporting and visibility into premium finance performance. Use insights to drive action, improve results, and inform leadership decisions.
