Overview:
Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Job Type: FTE
Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
  • ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows, including ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request), ITOM, ITAM, and other ServiceNow applications.
  • AI and Automation: Leverage AI-driven capabilities and automation tools to deliver predictive analytics and streamline repetitive processes across workflows.
  • Customization and Scripting: Customize ServiceNow forms, reports, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI pages, and integration scripts using JavaScript, Glide API, and other relevant technologies.
  • Integration: Implement and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory, REST APIs, SOAP web services).
  • Configuration Management: Develop and manage configuration items (CIs) within the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring accuracy and data consistency.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for ServiceNow issues, including incidents, problems, and change requests.
  • Upgrades & Patches: Plan and execute system upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for developed solutions, processes, and workflows.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Angular JS, HTML5, SCSS, React.js, UI Builder, etc.)
    • Expertise in configuring ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB, and understanding of ServiceNow Common Services Data Model (CSDM)
    • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.)
    • Familiarity with ServiceNow update sets, versioning, and deployment processes
    • Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) & ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) are highly preferred. Other certifications like ITIL Foundation are a plus.
  • Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITOM (Orchestration, Discovery, Event Management) and other advanced modules
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and how they integrate with ServiceNow
