JOB SUMMARY 47FLEX - 47VMU


Class A CDL Staff Driver and become a vital part of delivering high-quality broadcast services to our clients. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized motor coaches and support vehicles, ensuring the safe, timely, and professional transportation of equipment, crew members, and production staff. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with your mechanical knowledge will help keep our operations running smoothly while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the move, supporting live broadcasts and entertainment events across various locations.

Duties

  • Safely operate Class A High Value Semi Tractor / Mobile Unit & VMU Unit follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Transport production equipment between venues
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper maintenance; report any mechanical issues promptly
  • Setup Mobile Units at venues and set power, expanding side trailers, Platform and stairs unloading broadcast equipment and supplies with care and precision
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and event coordinators to coordinate schedules and address any logistical needs
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during all interactions

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record - No moving violations last 5 years - No Accidents - 10 Year Class A Truck Driving Experience
  • Proven experience in commercial driving, including experience driving high value Tractor Trailer. Must be able to shift Manual Transmission - 18 speed
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues
  • Must process superior Tractor - Trailer backing skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear interaction with team members and clients
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or extended travel as needed
  • Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of 75 lbs. equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
