Who we are looking for

We seek an exceptionally skilled and ambitious Plant Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Avon, OH. You are a proven leader with a STEM degree and four years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance. Your ability to plan, direct, and troubleshoot production activities flawlessly will help us maintain our world-class standards.

What you will get to do

As a Plant Supervisor at RE Build Manufacturing, you will:

  • Monitor and maintain production and shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery
  • Review production and operating reports, resolving operational and maintenance issues
  • Plan and schedule facility maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards by monitoring the facility and equipment
  • Motivate workers to achieve desired goals
  • Coordinate corporate policies including safety and Equal Employment Opportunity

Support and oversee CNC machining operations, ensuring production activities align with quality, safety, and delivery requirements. Partner with machinists, programmers, quality personnel, and maintenance teams to optimize machine utilization, improve process efficiency, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor machining performance metrics, tooling requirements, and workflow execution to ensure the consistent production of high-precision aerospace components.

What you bring to the team

Your expertise in production management, problem-solving, and effective communication will be crucial. You possess:

  • STEM Degree and 4 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
  • Strong mathematical skills, including algebra and geometry
  • Practical problem-solving skills with a variety of concrete variables
  • Proficiency in operating computers and using word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and perform duties in a moderate to loud work environment

Experience in a CNC machining environment is strongly preferred, including familiarity with machining processes, tooling, workholding, blueprint interpretation, GD&T, and quality requirements common to aerospace manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success leading machining personnel, coordinating production schedules, troubleshooting manufacturing challenges, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence within a precision manufacturing setting.
