POSITION SUMMARY:

CDA Precast is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our production team. This position supports the fabrication, assembly, repair, and modification of precast concrete products and structures. Team members will work with concrete, wood, steel, and various construction materials while using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment at all times
  • Set forms, gates, block-outs, and other components according to project specifications
  • Tie and secure rebar, embeds, inserts, and related materials as required
  • Apply form release agents and bond breakers while maintaining quality standards
  • Assist with concrete placement processes, including vibrating, screeding, mucking, and finishing tasks
  • Strip forms and perform product quality inspections after curing
  • Clean and prepare molds, beds, tools, and equipment for continued production
  • Maintain clean work areas throughout the shift and at the end of each workday
  • Assist with additional production duties and special projects as assigned by supervisors

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently stand and walk throughout shifts up to 10 hours
  • Frequently bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, and reach
  • Repeatedly use hands for grasping tools and handling materials
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Maintain adequate vision, hearing, and communication abilities to safely perform job duties

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Changing weather conditions
  • Heavy machinery and moving equipment
  • Construction and manufacturing environments
  • Slip, trip, and fall hazards

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license or state-issued identification
  • Previous construction, manufacturing, concrete, or labor experience is helpful but not required
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
