Position Description
- The overall responsibilities of a Erection Foreman include:
- Supervises a crew of up to 10 employees.
- Reads and follows plans, material lists, and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
- Conducts regular and tailgate safety meetings.
- Must be able to read crane charts.
- Must have working knowledge of grade level & transit instruments and calculating elevations.
- Must be qualified to operate aerial lifts, and skid-loaders.
- Must have knowledge of precast products and be able to erect precast units within PCI tolerances.
- Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Organizes, supervises, leads, and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.
- Enforces all company safety policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
- Submits crew members' timesheets to payroll by deadline.
- Attends branch operation meetings as required.
- Must have 30hours OSHA training.
