Job description

Who We're Looking For
Are you the kind of person who finds satisfaction in precision, organization, and doing things exactly right?
We're looking for a Production Pre-Weigh Specialist who takes pride in the details. At Merit Manufacturing, the products we make start long before they reach the production floor-they begin with carefully measured ingredients and a process that has to be done right every single time.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a structured environment, and understands that accuracy matters. You'll be responsible for weighing and preparing the raw materials that go into our formulas, ensuring our compounding team has everything they need to keep production moving smoothly.
If you like working with a team, staying organized, and being the person who sets the stage for a successful production run, we want to meet you.
Your Main Responsibilities
As a Production Pre-Weigh Specialist at Merit Manufacturing, you'll play a critical role in preparing materials for the compounding process. Every batch starts with your work. You'll gather raw materials, weigh them with precision, document the process, and make sure everything is verified and ready for the next step.
You're the calm, focused person making sure the ingredients are exactly right before they ever hit the mixing tanks.
  • Pull Raw Materials for Production
Locate and gather the correct raw materials required for each production batch.
  • Weigh Materials with Precision
Carefully measure ingredients according to batch instructions to ensure accuracy and product quality.
  • Document Everything
Record weights, lot numbers, and actions throughout the process so every batch is fully traceable and compliant.
  • Follow the Double-Check System
Ensure each critical step is verified by another team member to maintain accuracy and quality standards.
  • Support the Compounding Team
Work closely with the compounding crew to ensure they have the materials they need, exactly when they need them.
  • Keep Your Workspace Dialed In
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pre-weigh area throughout the day.
  • Follow SOPs and Safety Procedures
Understand and strictly follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines at all times.

Your attention to detail helps ensure every product we make meets the high standards our customers expect.
Are You Qualified?
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with scales, measurements, and detailed documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures exactly.
  • Ability to work on your feet and handle raw materials throughout the day.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed.
