Travel RN position in Pre-Op.
The unit has 9 pre-op beds and 5 phase 2 recovery beds.
There are 8 full-time nurses, with 2 open positions.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:3.
The unit uses various equipment including Pyxis and GE MACVU EKG machines.
Experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech, is preferred.
Typical procedures include phase 2 recoveries for various outpatient surgeries and infusions.
The ideal candidate values patient experience and effective communication with team members.
On-call shifts are required, with a 30-minute response time when on-call.
Two 10-hour on-call shifts are required every 8 weeks.
