Details Client Name Medical City Dallas Hospital Job Type Travel Offering Nursing Profession RN Specialty OR Job ID 35466468 Job Title TRAVEL - RN - PreOP/Day Surgery (786) / MC Dallas / 5:30A - 4P Weekly Pay $1783.5 Shift Details Shift Day - 10x4 - 07AM Scheduled Hours 40 Job Order Details Start Date 06/23/2026 End Date 09/22/2026 Duration 13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Pre Op RN Profession: RN Specialty: Pre Op Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 05:30 AM - 04:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: - Meditech experience - IV starts - Pediatric experience Description: We are seeking an experienced RN for the Pre Op specialty. Familiarity with Meditech is essential for this role. Candidates with day surgery and Pre Op experience will be prioritized.

The shift schedule is 4x10, from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Both adult and pediatric experience is ideal, with a preference for adult experience. The unit has 22 beds and a staff of 41, including charge RNs, Pre Op RNs, and Post Op RNs.

Patient ratios for Pre Op and PAT are 1:1, and Post Op is 3:1. Typical procedures performed include general surgery, gynecology, and orthopedic scopes. The ideal candidate will be flexible, friendly, and a team player.

Self-scheduling is available, but candidates must work 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays each schedule period. Candidates must be available to work during inclement weather. There are no weekend or on-call requirements for this position.
