Job Describtion:
  • Insurance defense litigation including first and third-party claims
  • New Jersey automobile accident defense and coverage disputes
  • Personal injury defense
  • Coverage opinions and pre-litigation evaluations
  • Depositions, hearings, and court appearances in New Jersey state and federal courts
  • Motion practice including summary judgment and dispositive motions
  • Direct representation of insurance companies and self-insured clients
  • Independently manage a full insurance defense caseload
  • Investigate and defend first and third-party insurance claims
  • Handle NJ automobile accident cases from pre-litigation through trial
  • Draft dispositive motions, coverage opinions, and legal memoranda
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Attend court hearings and mediations in New Jersey
  • Provide pre-litigation evaluations and strategic recommendations to clients
  • Conduct examinations under oath

Required Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active New Jersey Bar license - MANDATORY, no exceptions
  • 3-10 years of insurance defense litigation experience required
  • New Jersey automobile accident defense experience required - this is non-negotiable
  • Strong motion drafting and courtroom skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
  • Must be local to or able to commute to North Jersey - no relocation assistance
