Job description

Pre Litigation Associate Attorney
Well-established and nationally recognized Plaintiff's law firm in Houston, Texas is seeking to add a new Pre Litigation Attorney to our rapidly growing law firm.
This position is an excellent opportunity for: 1) Small firm or solo attorneys who want an established firm and a steady flow of work; 2) Defense attorneys seeking the right opportunity to switch sides; or 3) younger associates with a burning desire to kick start their career as a personal injury trial lawyer with the opportunity to earn fee splits/commissions on cases. Please note that at this time, we have a preference for adding an attorney who is fully bilingual in Spanish to our firm. We handle motor vehicle, trucking, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases nationwide. However, the bulk of our personal injury practice is primarily in Texas.
Our ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in personal injury handling pre litigation matters and has had previous experience with:
  • Managing 300 cases in pre-litigation;
  • Reviewing drafted demands;
  • Negotiating settlements;
  • Supervising Case Managers and track case progression;
  • Counsel clients;
  • Identify conflicts and determine strategy for successful resolution.
