Job description

We are looking for a Contract Paralegal (open to remote) to support commercial real estate matters in Winter Park, Florida. This position will partner closely with attorneys on active transactions, helping move deals forward through careful document management, due diligence coordination, and closing support. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to stay effective in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys throughout commercial real estate transactions from initial due diligence through final closing and post-closing follow-up.

• Examine title commitments, surveys, and related property records, and help address issues that may affect transaction timelines or closing readiness.

• Prepare, organize, and maintain transaction files, including pre-closing and post-closing documentation, in a thorough and orderly manner.

• Coordinate closings by tracking deadlines, assembling signature packages, and helping ensure all required materials are complete and accurate.

• Draft and update closing statements, checklists, title objection correspondence, and other transaction-related documents.

• Assist with the review of purchase agreements, leases, and other real estate contracts to support attorney analysis and execution.

• Help facilitate entity formation tasks and maintain related organizational records when needed for transactions.

• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while monitoring priorities, following through on deliverables, and communicating status updates clearly.

• At least 3-5 years of paralegal experience, with meaningful exposure to commercial real estate matters preferred.

• Working knowledge of title review, surveys, due diligence processes, contract review, and closing documentation.

• Experience supporting pre-closing and post-closing activities for real estate transactions.

• Proficiency with case management systems and document organization in a legal or transactional setting.

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Paralegal certification is strongly preferred, though comparable hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal credentials.

• Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.

Must have experience in Florida and or Texas real estate.
