JOB SUMMARY

Preferred candidates will be expected to meet the traditional requirements of excellence in teaching.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must hold a master's degree in social work from a CSWE accredited program or a doctoral degree in social work at the time of employment and demonstrate evidence of teaching effectiveness. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred qualifications vary depending on the type of course assigned and may include: a PhD (research methods) or an LCSW (micro practice/practicum seminar, and 5 years' experience in clinical social work (micro practice/practicum seminar). 

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

The person holding this position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.

Following a conditional offer of employment, a background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate may start work with CSUSB. Lecturer C                           (Range 4) - $6,825 - $14,523
