Their primary role is to help the main team prepare for upcoming matches by simulating opponents, running drills, and providing competition during practice sessions. While they may not compete in games, practice players are essential for maintaining a high level of training and supporting the overall success of the team. This position is common in collegiate and professional sports, especially in basketball and football.
