Your Job:
The Office Manger will supervise the daily operations of the facility to ensure a smooth,efficient operations process is carried out daily. You will work closely with Physicians to ensure that quality patient care is maintained.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (THIS LIST MAY NOT INCLUDE ALL OF THE DUTIES ASSIGNED)

Supervise and perform front end revenue cycle workflows to achieve key practice indicators for practice revenue cycle, including but not limited to the management of provider performance against MMG initiatives

Round with staff at assigned practice(s) daily; ensure assigned practice(s) maintain MMG standards of performance for huddles, staff meetings, and one on one meetings, supporting employee engagement and employee development goals

Ensure assigned practice(s) maintain MMG standards for practice performance meetings and operating reports

Coordinate with MMG leadership in the initial preparation and development of an annual operating budget and monitor performance to budget Manage and oversee the business affairs of assigned practice(s)

Utilize data to make informed decisions on practice operations and to provide updates to MMG leadership

Manage and report to Supervisor the patient experience and access at assigned practice(s)

Hire, train, monitor and retain staff

Monitor performance of direct reports continually, provide additional training as needed, and conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports

Manage work schedules and ensure appropriate staffing

Supervise the management of inventory for medications and medical equipment and organize for resupply and maintenance

Manage security and occupational health and safety at assigned practice(s)

Interact with patients and assist in patient complaint resolution; manage patient grievances per MMG policy

Partner with providers to achieve performance metrics

Collaborate with providers to develop business strategies and patient services

Support MMG in the recruitment and onboarding of Providers.

Assist in carrying out short and long-term practice growth strategies

Model leadership behaviors that support mission and goals of organization.

Lead practice-based committees for assigned practice(s) to engage staff in operational decisions

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in health care administration, public health, health information management or business administration is preferred. Three years of experience in a position with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software

Good leadership, motivation, training and goal-setting skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Financial and accounting skills

Knowledge of finance best practices and standards

Strong organization and time management skills

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work.

Able to travel to meetings and to attend conferences as necessary
