Description:
Holy Cross Medical Group has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Vascular Surgeon to join our well-established group located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
We are seeking a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgery physician to join a single specialty practice. The Vascular Surgery team utilizes our Inpatient Hybrid room and Interventional Suites for majority of the procedures.
The ideal candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching of our General Surgery Residents and will be appointed volunteer faculty at the University of Miami.
Within the practice a comprehensive array of vascular treatment and surgical services are offered including:
  • Arterial aneurysms, including the thoracic and abdominal aorta, and peripheral vessels.
  • Carotid artery disease for prevention of stroke
  • PAD-Peripheral artery occlusive disease-causing exercise-related leg pain (claudication) or limb-threatening ischemia
  • Mesenteric and Visceral vascular diseases
  • Hemodialysis access for patients with kidney failure
  • Venous disorders, including varicose veins.

Requirements for this opportunity include:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited vascular surgery residency/fellowship and ABS certification in vascular surgery.
  • Board certification through the American Board of Surgery with certification of special qualification (CSQ) in vascular surgery - or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
  • Candidates must possess a current Florida medical license or be eligible for licensure in the state of Florida.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right Vascular Surgery physician to join a growing and well-established practice.
