Job description

Vascular Surgeon

We are seeking a full-time vascular surgeon to shape a high-quality, community-focused vascular program. This is a unique opportunity to lead program growth and manage diverse cases. Enjoy schedule flexibility with strong clinical support while making a meaningful impact in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include establishing and leading a community-based vascular surgery program. Provide advanced vascular surgical care, including treatments for aneurysmal disease, carotid artery disease, hemodialysis access, peripheral vascular disease, and limb salvage. Perform both open and endovascular procedures. Manage vascular conditions with medical therapy, lifestyle modification, and non-surgical interventions. Maintain a weekly schedule of 2 clinic days and 3 procedural/surgical days. Take 10 night/weekend call shifts per month (does not include daytime coverage). Share call responsibilities with other surgical staff. Supervise advanced practice providers involved in vascular care delivery. Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Participate in the development and future expansion of the program, including recruitment of additional staff. Deliver patient-centered care in a high-quality, community-focused setting. Educate and counsel patients and families on treatment options, wellness, and disease prevention. Maintain open communication with referring physicians. Participate in institutional service activities. Serve as a preceptor for medical students, residents, fellows, nursing staff, and allied health professionals. Opportunity for program leadership based on experience and interest is available. This position will include a clinical faculty appointment.
