The Medical Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of a the practice, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and effective office environment. The role requires strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills to manage administrative staff, coordinate patient care, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. Experience with insurance paneling, rate negotiations, and marketing is also essential.
Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a high standard of efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage office schedules, including appointments, staff shifts, and meetings.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.

Staff Management:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Address staff concerns and foster a positive work environment.

Financial Management:
  • Oversee billing, coding, and collections processes.

Patient Relations:
  • Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for patients.
  • Address patient complaints and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Improve patient flow and reduce wait times.

Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and CARF standards.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality.
