Practice ManagerSouthern Nevada Family Medicine / Southern Nevada Occupational Health Center is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our medical offices.
We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, professional, and comfortable managing staff, providers, patient flow, scheduling, and overall clinic operations.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily clinic operations
  • Supervise front office, medical assistants, scheduling, and support staff
  • Manage employee performance, training, attendance, and accountability
  • Monitor provider schedules and patient volume
  • Help improve scheduling, patient flow, and office efficiency
  • Monitor patient outreach, missed appointments, and follow-up needs
  • Oversee referrals and ensure they are completed appropriately
  • Assist with Medicare Advantage and primary care initiatives, including Annual Wellness Visits and quality measures
  • Support occupational medicine operations, including employer accounts, workers' compensation, physicals, and drug testing
  • Handle escalated patient concerns and help maintain a high level of customer service
  • Work closely with providers and leadership to resolve operational issues
  • Review reports and identify areas where the practice can improve
  • Assist with compliance, policies, procedures, and staff training
  • Communicate with insurance companies, IPAs, specialists, vendors, and other healthcare partners as needed
  • Help ensure both clinic locations are properly staffed and operating efficiently
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of medical office or healthcare experience
  • Previous management or supervisory experience required
  • Strong understanding of medical office operations
  • Experience managing employees and holding staff accountable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with EMR systems, scheduling systems, insurance portals, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced medical environment
  • Primary care experience strongly preferred
  • Medicare Advantage experience preferred
  • Occupational medicine experience is a plus
