Their job duties include providing support to attorneys at the law firm and their clients. Career qualifications include an associate’s degree and certification, although many employers prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree and experience working as a legal assistant. Some people in this job choose to use their experience in the legal field to become a paralegal and pursue a career as an attorney.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a practice assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Practice Assistant, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of administrative processes, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent.
