Job description

BPM-PR Firm, a national award-winning public relations agency, is seeking a highly organized, creative, and media-driven Account Executive to manage day-to-day client communications, oversee project execution, and support campaign strategy. This is a high-ownership role ideal for someone with 24 years of agency experience ready to take the lead on multiple accounts for fashion, beauty, lifestyle and wellness. Must have an elite ability to contribute both creatively and strategically. This is a contract to permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple client accounts, serving as the lead point of contact for day-to-day communications and updates.
  • Lead regular client calls, providing updates, insights, next steps, and recommendations with confidence and clarity.
  • Create and deliver client-facing weekly and monthly reports, tracking earned media coverage, results, and opportunities.
  • Task and manage projects in collaboration with the PR Manager/Director, ensuring all timelines and campaign milestones are met.
  • Coordinate and oversee media placement follow-ups, sample requests, and influencer/product mailings.
  • Draft and edit core press materials including press releases, pitch letters, bios, and media alerts.
  • Conduct proactive media outreach and pitching, securing earned placements across national, regional, trade, and digital outlets.
  • Routinely bring creative and strategic ideas to brainstorms and client campaigns to elevate visibility and engagement.
  • Manage media lists, editorial calendars, contact databases, and tracking tools.
  • Research new media opportunities, trends, contacts, partnerships, and award submissions.
  • Support events, product launches, and influencer activations as needed.
  • Ensure smooth project execution through organized task management, cross-team communication, and clear deliverables.
What Were Looking For
  • 24 years of public relations experience, ideally in an agency environment. This is not a social media related role- must have media pitching, writing and media placement experience.
  • Strong understanding of media outreach, campaign execution, and client communication.
  • Proven ability to pitch and secure media placements across a variety of industries.
  • Experience leading client calls, managing up to 5 accounts, and owning reporting responsibilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly reliable in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfortable with MuckRack, Cision, Google Workspace, and tools like Basecamp or Asana.
  • A collaborative mindset and the confidence to contribute ideas and lead initiatives.
  • Bonus if you have experience in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or corporate PR.
