About the Employer
The Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) is a service agency supporting the county's 23 school districts that serve nearly 430,000 students. RCOE provides administrative support to districts, leads programs for preschool, special education, pregnant minor, corrections, migrant, and vocational students, and offers professional training, support and resources for teachers, administrators, and staff throughout Riverside County.
Job Summary
The job of Wellness Coach is done for the purpose(s) of providing non-clinical behavioral health services to support the well-being of students and families in Student Programs and Services. These services are provided at all tiers of MTSS and include individual support, group support, wellness promotion and education, crisis referral, screening, care coordination, and related services. The Wellness Coach will work under the direction of a Licensed Professional (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC) or PPS credentialed personnel.
*This is a grant-based position, and employment in this position is subject to the availability of grant funding.*
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Certification (Optional) Certified Wellness Coach certification through the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI)
  • Copy of Transcript (Copy of legible transcripts must be attached to your application showing a conferred Associate's degree (or higher) in social work, health and human services, addiction studies, psychology, sociology, or a related field. (Must attach transcript - Diploma copy will not be accepted)

  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) Letters of Recommendation are required and must be signed by the author.
