SR STAFF ACCOUNTANT

As a top-ranked agency (PPAI #20, ASI Top 40), we're looking for a driven Account Manager to join our team and lead the charge within our key global enterprise accounts.
We are seeking a Sr. Staff Accountant to own core accounting operations for a fast‑growing, $50MM promotional products company. This role leads the month‑end close, QBO reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, commission reporting, and serves as the primary liaison for ERP/CRM system integration with QBO and the annual CPA review.

With 2–3 years of consistent, high‑quality work, demonstrated ownership of the close process, improved reporting accuracy, and leadership across systems and audits, the Sr. Staff Accountant can be elevated into a Controller role as the company continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
  • QBO Reconciliations — Complete and review monthly bank, credit card, AP, AR, inventory, and clearing account reconciliations.Month‑End Close — Own the full close cycle including accruals, prepaids, amortization schedules, and variance analysis.
  • Journal Entries — Prepare and post recurring and ad‑hoc journal entries with proper documentation and GAAP compliance.
  • ERP/CRM Integration Oversight — Monitor data flow between QBO, ERP, and CRM; troubleshoot sync issues; ensure accurate order‑to‑cash and procure‑to‑pay mapping.
  • Accruals amp; Cost Tracking — Maintain accruals for inventory, freight, samples, vendor deposits, and customer programs.
  • Commission Reporting — Prepare monthly commission reports based on sales activity, gross profit thresholds, and company‑defined rules.
  • Ad‑Hoc Reporting — Produce financial, operational, and margin‑related reports as requested by leadership.
  • CPA Review Liaison — Prepare schedules, respond to auditor requests, and ensure timely completion of the annual review.
  • Internal Controls amp; Process Improvement — Strengthen accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service to resolve discrepancies and improve data accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA‑track preferred.
  • 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing, distribution, or promotional products experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and experience with ERP/CRM integrations.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and inventory costing.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and reconcile complex transactions.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with external auditors and cross‑functional teams.
