Company Description:

CRDN helps people put their lives back together after a disaster such as a fire or flood in their home. We do this by restoring their household contents and therefore saving valuables and memories. Household contents include everything from clothing, kitchen appliances, televisions, family portraits, computers, and down to the smallest knickknacks. CRDN will respond to these disasters, pack up the contents, bring them to our restoration facility for processing, store them until the house or business is ready for them to be delivered and then make a final delivery.

We are a growing company and are looking to add to our packout team. CRDN offers paid holidays and paid time off.

Due to the nature of CRDN's work with insurance companies, all new hires are required to undergo a background check.

Job Description: Packout Technician/Customer Service Lead

Packout technician/customer service reps are responsible for following the lead’s directions to complete productive packouts. This involves inventorying household contents, packing, and wrapping them for moving.  CRDN works almost exclusively with insurance companies, each of which wants us to provide their clients with exceptional service. CSRs will interact with our Packout Lead to accurately and safely packout the items CRDN will be restoring.

The ideal candidate will have experience in packouts or the moving industry, be detail oriented, be able to follow directions, have good interpersonal skills, and be capable of independently solving problems that arise on jobsites.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in packouts and deliveries of jobs at the direction of the Packout Lead.
  • Be compassionate to explain CRDN processes and procedures, reassure homeowner, and escalate questions to management as needed.
  • Learn to properly protect items for packout, transport, and storage.
  • Become proficient in using the CRDN software and procedures.
  • Work in warehouse to organize incoming jobs and finished goods storage.
  • Assist with keeping the delivery vehicles loaded with proper equipment.
  • Crosstrain in at least one restoration technique (contents, electronics, textiles, art)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must pass Background Check (required by insurance partners)
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and solve problems
  • Experience as a mover is preferred
  • Be compassionate with a desire to help people
  • Present a professional image
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm.
  • This position is eligible for overtime when approved and as required for pack outs and deliveries.

Benefits:

  • 1 week of Paid Time Off after 90 days (PTO accrues with hours worked)
  • 6 paid holidays after 90 days (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)

Pay:

$17-$19 per hour
