One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a results-driven
Operations Manager to lead our Akron, Ohio team. This key leadership role is
responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving profitability, developing team
members, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience across all service,
maintenance, and installation activities.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with experience in HVAC service
operations, field team management, and performance coaching.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
  • Manage daily HVAC service, maintenance, and installation operations.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling, dispatching, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain operational processes that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Team Management
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing technicians and office staff.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and accountability meetings.
  • Foster a positive, customer-focused culture centered on teamwork and accountability.
  • Lead daily huddles and operational meetings.

Financial Performance
  • Manage departmental budgets and profitability.

  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home-service industry experience.
