Overview

SharePoint & Power Platform Developer (AI-Enhanced Solutions) (SIOP-2026-25732):

Bowhead seeks an SharePoint & Power Platform Developer (AI-Enhanced Solutions) to join our team in providing program management support in a broad range of services to and assisting our US Navy clients. This Learning Strategist & Adoption Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, automated business solutions using SharePoint, PowerApps, and AI‑driven tools.

This position will work a hybrid schedule with multiple days onsite at the DC Naval Shipyard.

Responsibilities

The Learning Strategist & Adoption Specialist integrates data across multiple applications, builds intelligent workflows, and develops advanced reporting capabilities that support organizational efficiency and strategic decision‑making.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Share and create AI Prompts with client streamline reports and creating documents using Gemini AI from talking to client about obstacles.
  • Serve as backup maintain SharePoint lists, libraries, and automated workflows.
  • Draft business requirements POAM to create scalable PowerApps applications that meet stakeholder requirements with consideration and on site coordination with client to meet deadlines.
  • Serve as backup for exporting/importing monthly reports when team lead is out.
  • Partner with teams to translate business needs into technical solutions with minimal friction.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications within organizational standards.
  • Document processes, workflows, data structures, and solution architecture with the assistance of AI prompts.
  • Lead in person brown bags on techniques and increase user adoption of current AI model available within program (Gemini AI).
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Two or more (2+) years relevant expertise and experience with strong PowerApps development skills, including canvas and model‑driven apps.
  • Demonstrated experience with SharePoint development (sites, lists, content types, automations).
  • Interest in learning PowerApps development and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with the use‑case of Power BI for KPP metrics and presentations.
  • Ability to unify datasets across apps; proficiency in importing, exporting, merging, and transforming data.
  • Experience using AI tools for workflow creation, automation, data analysis, and natural language agents.
  • Skill in crafting effective prompts, prompt chains, and agent instructions for AI‑powered tasks.
  • Ability to create clear, structured compare/contrast reports using complex and varied inputs.
  • Proficiency in developing scheduled, automated reports delivered through SharePoint, Teams, or other enterprise channels.
  • Strong problem‑solving and systems‑thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of relational databases.
  • Understanding of enterprise data governance and security requirements.
  • Familiarity with version control practices and lifecycle management for apps and automation.
  • Background in program or project management.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.

Target salary is $95,000/year to $115,000/year, commensurate with experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
