Job description

Job Title: Sr Cyber Security Engineer Location: Washington, DC Type: Contract Compensation: $79.55 Work Model: Hybrid Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and customize SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ) to support Governance Policies and procedures during implementation of the Enterprise Identity and Governance Management (EIGM) system.
  • Assist in daily activities related to SailPoint IIQ including development, testing, and deployment phases of the implementation and support.
  • Perform upgrades and support for SailPoint IIQ versions (8x) ensuring system stability and functionality.
  • Customize SailPoint IIQ product features as needed, including developing custom workflows and workflows management.
  • Integrate and manage resource adapters/connectors such as Active Directory, JDBC, Flat files, ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, and WebServices.
  • Set up SailPoint IIQ custom tasks and reports, providing comprehensive documentation of processes and activities.
  • Support day-to-day operations and troubleshooting of security solutions, providing engineering support and system administration.
  • Analyze system logs for performance issues and anomalies, working with architects and project managers to define security requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience (additional 4 years for non-degree holders).
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant IT security experience.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CISA required upon hire.
  • Experience performing risk assessments and investigating cybersecurity incidents.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, hardware/software, networks, data centers, and cybersecurity issues.
  • Proficiency in ethical hacking techniques and troubleshooting security systems.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
