Users of our efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions include final consumers,contractors, and industrial manufacturing companies. The company operates as two divisions, Decorative Finishing(DF) and Industrial Solutions (IS).
Position Objective
Grow sales of Titan product by means of corporate sales calls, store sales calls, contractor sales calls. Prospectnew customers in niche segments to expand and broaden product offering. Service distribution via training, salesPOS, and soliciting orders. Provide equipment knowledge and troubleshooting as a service to contractors andstore personnel. Sells products to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store,showroom, or customer's place of business.
Responsibilities
  • Position requires applicable knowledge of all equipment sold by Titan
  • Requires travel (occasional overnight) throughout assigned territory to call on established and prospectivedistribution and contractors
  • Displays or demonstrates product both verbally and hands-on to emphasize saleable features and benefits
  • Quotes prices and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts
  • Prepares forecasting reports for designated territory
  • Builds relationships with top contractors in each market
  • Manages carstock inventory
  • Other duties as assigned

Relationship To Others
Works with sales peers and Titan support team in the performance of their duties.
Dimensions of Position
Works with confidential company information including product design, new product launches, and companyfinancials.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum of two years' field sales experience is required, preferably in related industry; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as determined by the hiring manager and Human Resources.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers,Spanish speaking preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sales profit and loss concepts. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such asdiscounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while being self-motivated and a good team builder.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-starter mentality.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a home office or field setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
