Opportunity: Contingent specialist role supporting Axyde's proposal for USTDA 1131PL26R0056
Mobilization: Potential Regional Asia travel within 20 calendar days after Axyde's written notice following award

Role purpose

Test whether transmission, stability, reliability and interconnection conditions support an energy opportunity and define the studies and upgrades needed for a defensible decision.

Representative problems this role must solve
  • A generation or storage concept is attractive, but the grid model, transfer capability, congestion and stability evidence are inadequate.
  • Interconnection assumptions omit protection, reactive power, fault duty, dynamic behavior, grid-code or network-upgrade dependencies.
  • A cross-border or weak-grid project requires sequenced studies, realistic data needs and bounded conclusions despite incomplete models.
Responsibilities
  • Lead or review power-flow, contingency, short-circuit, stability, transfer-capability, reliability and interconnection analyses.
  • Define model/data requirements, study cases, sensitivities, acceptance criteria, network upgrades and decision gates.
  • Translate system findings into project scope, schedule, cost, curtailment, operating and bankability implications.
  • Draft or independently review study TORs and decision-grade recommendations for Government use.
Minimum evidence-based qualifications
  • Direct transmission-planning, utility-system planning, interconnection, reliability or power-system modeling experience.
  • Evidence of personally using recognized power-system tools and producing studies used for utility, regulator, lender, developer or Government decisions.
  • Experience with weak grids, renewable integration, cross-border systems or emerging-market utilities is preferred.
  • Demonstrated senior/expert judgment, normally supported by at least 10 years of directly relevant work and specific project or decision-product evidence.
  • Ability to separate verified facts, assumptions, professional judgments, uncertainties and recommendations in concise written English.
  • U.S. citizen or non-U.S. citizen lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States; written attestation is required before proposal inclusion.
  • Ability to become available for potential Regional Asia travel within 20 calendar days after Axyde's written mobilization notice following contract award, subject to assignment needs and Government direction.
  • Willingness to disclose availability, employment/contract restrictions, confidentiality obligations, conflicts, noncompetes and country/customer limitations.
